You say having a baby die is a "pretty dark pill to get networks to swallow", but the BBC is a network that had a woman's face submerged in a deep fryer (Spooks), and then on another show had a baby die from SIDS, only for the mother to swap her dead baby for someone else's (Eastenders). I don't think the BBC is going to have a problem if they decide to kill baby Watson, especially when Eastenders airs earlier than Sherlock tends to.

Sherlock/John/Mary/baby/dog ran from the opposite side of where you see the crowed towards the crowd, so in front of the church from side to side. Only a few takes. Марципан и Омандер одеты как в сцене с реборном, то есть с младенцем, а куртки другого цвета надеты для тепла сверху. То есть готовятся снимать продолжение этой беготни с собакой и бебиком, а эти дети - не Джона и Мэри, а кого-то другого по сюжету.
Меня смущает то, что изначально говорили, что она беременная все еще. Может, там какая-то мега-гениальная задумка: все окружающее оставить без изменений (место - рынок, их шмотки), а сконцентрировать внимание именно на растущем ребенке?

от чела что вчера был на сете I found AA/MF/BC dynamic rather confusing. I observed them, of course, and it looks like BC and MF are distant and AA is running between them. There was one moment where she was saying something to both of them, but BC and MF stayed at least six feet apart and she had to choose with whom to speak.
Amanda was worried that we were cold and shook our hands to confirm it Martin just said hi, but during the filming when he was passing by he was always smiling and winking. There was also a funny moment when they got into the car and drove around the square. We couldn't come up with any reason for doing this other that so Martin could wave at us

Since I still see a lot of confusion about yesterday’s filming, I thought I’d make a quick summary post of what was actually filmed and what it could look like in the episode eventually.
The scenes filmed on location 2 (trinity church square) should be before the ones from location 1 (borough market) chronologically.
In loc 2 they basically came out of a house guarded by police ie a crime scene and then Sherlock gave the dog smth to sniff so he can follow the trail to a missing, possibly murdered person.
In the market they were going through different streets, following the dog’s lead until they ended up at the freezer with blood, where a body might be inside/the trail ends.
Yes, taking the baby on the crime scene is not at all appropriate. Martin was even running behind Ben and Amanda at some point, with the baby of course (it was the doll at the moment, don’t worry).
BUT it was definitely all case related. It was in no way just a nice family trip to the market with dog and baby as I saw some people saying.
Just took a walk around Embankment and there are tons of parking bay suspensions for filming coming up, unconfirmed #setlock. I’ll post these on twitter too.

The filmed only inside the London Aquarium this evening and even closed early for this. Ben was there, he drove past and waved at us. There were also 3 supporting actors. We didn’t recognize any of them, but they were wearing police uniforms. Ben was just in there for a pretty short time, then they filmed more scenes just with the SAs. They also did some shots from Westminster Bridge, but without any actors, so just for some establishing shots. And last, but certainly not least, we were informed of one Very Important bit of information: Martin was actually filming with Ben in the MI6 building earlier and it was a closed set. As far as we know, it was just the two of them together (yay!), not even with Mycroft.
Superb summary from hotsmugstache! (The closed set info was definitely exciting! Although I assume because filming at this site was under strict regulation, as we were also told.) Just to add a bit, Ben was first on set at the aquarium, but later when the SA cops arrived one additional cast member drove through with a tinted blue/silver bmw, but they apparently were not a “principal” character. We also discovered that they were shooting in the aquarium tunnel. Entrance for tech and actors via vehicles photo below. Sue, Diana Barton (line producer), Daf, all seen to arrive as well. Just some interesting info, they even had to have agents on site outside to make sure they weren’t filming things they shouldn’t when doing the Thames Path shoot. It’s true that although we were told about the closed set we have no proof. Do we know if other shows have been able to film inside before? This website talks about it’s interior use within Bond films, but not entirely convinced if this wasn’t replicated with studio shots or other locations - I’d have to do more research. SAs were of course housed in the building next door, not in MI6.
It’s been over two years since the last series of Sherlock, with only a one-off special to keep fans going in the meantime.
However, filming on the fourth series in now finally underway – and it sounds like there won’t be too much longer to go until it’ll hit our screens.
Speaking on the Graham Norton show, Martin Freeman, who plays John Watson in the series, said that fans can expect the new episodes towards the end of the year.
“We are back filming now and the three shows will, I imagine, be out around Christmas,” he said. Freeman also spoke about the amount of fans showing up on set – which isn’t always easy to manage.
“There is always a heightened state of excitement and we sometimes have to respectfully remind them that we have to be focused and it’s not a live gig!”
Appearing on the chat show ahead of his turn in Captain America: Civil War, Freeman also said that he will continue to star in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films. “I think my character will develop a bit more as I enter the Marvel world a bit more which seems to be happening,” he confirmed.
Setlock Recap, 4.27.16 Parking suspensions were spotted on Whitehall Place for April 28 and May 1, as well as on Carlton House Terrace for May 3 and 4, but they may or may not be Sherlock-related. Arwel gave us a picture of the Spiridion and Son clock from the Cardiff Coal Exchange, which is inscribed with the latin phrase tempus fugit, meaning time flies. Ben was spotted filming at Vauxhall Bridge, where he did some running, some standing around looking lonely, some walking, and even more walking while looking out over the Thames . Mark was on hand, as was Rachel of course, and Amanda trolled us with a tweet from home. (More pics here: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and a video of Claire Pritchard fluffing Ben’s hair.) Filming then moved down to the Thames path next to the bridge, in front of the MI6 Building at Vauxhall Cross, where there were supporting actors in suits. A supporting actor in a tan trenchcoat, potentially actor James Holmes, was filmed walking through the area. The story in this scene was possibly that Sherlock was meeting with an agent of some kind. They may have also taken some promo pics here. (More pics here: 1, 2, 3, 4, and a video of Ben saying hello to some fans.) In the evening, Dominique Arthur gave us a picture of a fish, hinting at some filming taking place at the London Aquarium. Ben and 3 supporting actors dressed as police officers were filming there, with at least some of it supposedly being shot in the aquarium tunnel. The crew also filmed some establishing shots from Westminster Bridge. Martin and Ben reportedly filmed a scene together on a closed set inside the MI6 Building earlier in the day. (I’m marking those last two points unconfirmed because there are no pics of what they filmed since they were indoors, but huge, huge thanks to @cupidford and @hotsmugstache for braving the elements today to bring us the scoop. We would definitely be missing out without you two superstars!)

I was at setlock today. They finished around 8 pm. Didn't think to check exact time as was a bit frozen. It's close to zero C after sunset. AA and MF came to us afterwards to say hi and thank you. BC just turned and left. Don't blame him of course.

So I have to make a post about this because they did film closer to the Church after all. There was a crane camera on the other side of the square, filming across the square towards the church. Sherlock/John/Mary/baby/dog ran from the opposite side of where you see the crowed towards the crowd, so in front of the church from side to side. Only a few takes. Additional cameras and booms closer to them in addition to the crane shot.

RED: Scene 45. MF & AA & baby inside #55 Trinity Church Sq. They exit, close the door. SA police manning doors. Head diagonally towards Sherlock on the phone with the dog. Sherlock gets off the phone, they have dog sniff something, Sherlock says “Go” some takes and then “And we’re off!”
YELLOW: Crane over the sq towards MF/AA/BC/baby/dog as they run from the top dot to the bottom dot. Possibly overheard “51” -> Scene 51? Unsure. other cameras and booms were taking shots closer to the action in addition to the crane. (extra shots of the sq taken earlier w/ just crane camera & no action).
GREEN: MF/AA/BC/baby/dog walk from bottom dot to top dot towards #55 Trinity Church Sq.
BLUE: Not sure what went on here. AA possibly crouched w/ dog /MF/BC/baby next to her -> all looking at something on the ground/grass in front of the gate of the square. Only took 3-4 shots in the last 10-15 mins, we were slightly blocked by cars.

I found AA/MF/BC dynamic rather confusing. I observed them, of course, and it looks like BC and MF are distant and AA is running between them. There was one moment where she was saying something to both of them, but BC and MF stayed at least six feet apart and she had to choose with whom to speak.

28.04.2016 в 02:56The scenes filmed on location 2 (trinity church square) should be before the ones from location 1 (borough market) chronologically.
In loc 2 they basically came out of a house guarded by police ie a crime scene and then Sherlock gave the dog smth to sniff so he can follow the trail to a missing, possibly murdered person.
In the market they were going through different streets, following the dog’s lead until they ended up at the freezer with blood, where a body might be inside/the trail ends.
Yes, taking the baby on the crime scene is not at all appropriate. Martin was even running behind Ben and Amanda at some point, with the baby of course (it was the doll at the moment, don’t worry).
BUT it was definitely all case related. It was in no way just a nice family trip to the market with dog and baby as I saw some people saying.

There were also 3 supporting actors. We didn’t recognize any of them, but they were wearing police uniforms.
Ben was just in there for a pretty short time, then they filmed more scenes just with the SAs. They also did some shots from Westminster Bridge, but without any actors, so just for some establishing shots.
And last, but certainly not least, we were informed of one Very Important bit of information: Martin was actually filming with Ben in the MI6 building earlier and it was a closed set. As far as we know, it was just the two of them together (yay!), not even with Mycroft.
Superb summary from hotsmugstache! (The closed set info was definitely exciting! Although I assume because filming at this site was under strict regulation, as we were also told.)
Just to add a bit, Ben was first on set at the aquarium, but later when the SA cops arrived one additional cast member drove through with a tinted blue/silver bmw, but they apparently were not a “principal” character.
We also discovered that they were shooting in the aquarium tunnel.

It’s true that although we were told about the closed set we have no proof. Do we know if other shows have been able to film inside before? This website talks about it’s interior use within Bond films, but not entirely convinced if this wasn’t replicated with studio shots or other locations - I’d have to do more research. SAs were of course housed in the building next door, not in MI6.

However, filming on the fourth series in now finally underway – and it sounds like there won’t be too much longer to go until it’ll hit our screens.
Speaking on the Graham Norton show, Martin Freeman, who plays John Watson in the series, said that fans can expect the new episodes towards the end of the year.
“We are back filming now and the three shows will, I imagine, be out around Christmas,” he said.
Freeman also spoke about the amount of fans showing up on set – which isn’t always easy to manage.

28.04.2016 в 21:11Parking suspensions were spotted on Whitehall Place for April 28 and May 1, as well as on Carlton House Terrace for May 3 and 4, but they may or may not be Sherlock-related.
Arwel gave us a picture of the Spiridion and Son clock from the Cardiff Coal Exchange, which is inscribed with the latin phrase tempus fugit, meaning time flies.
Ben was spotted filming at Vauxhall Bridge, where he did some running, some standing around looking lonely, some walking, and even more walking while looking out over the Thames . Mark was on hand, as was Rachel of course, and Amanda trolled us with a tweet from home. (More pics here: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and a video of Claire Pritchard fluffing Ben’s hair.)
Filming then moved down to the Thames path next to the bridge, in front of the MI6 Building at Vauxhall Cross, where there were supporting actors in suits. A supporting actor in a tan trenchcoat, potentially actor James Holmes, was filmed walking through the area. The story in this scene was possibly that Sherlock was meeting with an agent of some kind. They may have also taken some promo pics here. (More pics here: 1, 2, 3, 4, and a video of Ben saying hello to some fans.)
In the evening, Dominique Arthur gave us a picture of a fish, hinting at some filming taking place at the London Aquarium. Ben and 3 supporting actors dressed as police officers were filming there, with at least some of it supposedly being shot in the aquarium tunnel. The crew also filmed some establishing shots from Westminster Bridge.
Martin and Ben reportedly filmed a scene together on a closed set inside the MI6 Building earlier in the day.
(I’m marking those last two points unconfirmed because there are no pics of what they filmed since they were indoors, but huge, huge thanks to @cupidford and @hotsmugstache for braving the elements today to bring us the scoop. We would definitely be missing out without you two superstars!)

Кмк всю инфу приносили, первой вышла собака и ее забрал Шерлок, потом Мери вышла и отдала ребенка Джону и они все пошли по улице.
Источник мне сказал, что в доме был хозяин собакена, ну короче какой-то мужик, наверно хозяин.

It’ll be part of today’s summary post, but most crew made it seem like today was the last shoot in London, and we heard they might be on to Bristol tomorrow - super unconfirmed but something to keep an eye out for.
@hotsmugstache and I will be scouting in London tomorrow morning just in case, but I’ve heard the last-London-day thing again since I’ve returned, so it’s looking pretty good that today was the last day in London until some time in June
